In order to remove the old adhesive you might find it easier to heat the glue first and then try a combination of scraping or products such as rubber alcohol. Once gone, you can then apply the ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad part # 277-000163. It's best to remove as much excess glue as possibly so the unit can attach securely and preform as intended.

Do you mean regulators like the Camco part # CAM59323 that you referenced or something different? If it's a regulator it's not super common for it to leak but it is designed to let it breath during normal operation and also it functions as a pressure relief valve if it were to be over-pressurized. I called HydraStar on your behalf and they said the most likely problem with the caliper of the HydraStar Disc Brake, part # HSE7K-T1, not lining up correctly is because the piston needs to be reset into the caliper.
I also spoke with one of our installation experts, and he believes this may be the problem as well.
To reset the caliper, place a brake pad in the piston side and use a c-clamp like part # PTW5100 to seat it to push it in all of the way.

The fresh water pumps on motorhomes and trailers are very universal in design so you should have no issues at all replacing the Shurflow 4008-101-A65 with the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25201. These two models both have a three gallon per minute capacity so I do think they would be good replacement options for one another. I checked directly with Lippert (see cut out below), and the frame by itself is not something they have available as a replacement for the 26 Series steps.

It looks like your 2018 Jayco Redhawk 29xk was built on a E-450 cab and chassis. The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter item # 22292 will plug into a port behind the instrument cluster finish panel in the center of the dash on the driver's side.
